Team Deposits
Team Cancellation
Team Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation of an entered team more than 30 days of the event will result in forfeiture of that deposit and credit of remaining balance. Canceling an entered team within 30 days will result in forfeiture of full amount.
Tournament Cancellation
US Lax Events tournaments and showcases have fixed expenses relating to each event, including but not limited to field costs, equipment costs, and personnel. Accordingly, teams will not receive a full credit of the entry fee if the tournament is canceled. In the event a US Lax Events tournament or showcase is cancelled prior to the start of the event, a 100% credit of registration fees minus the nonrefundable team deposit, will be issued towards a future US Lax Events tournament.
Tournament Adjustments
Before or after the event has started, tournament organizers and facility owners reserve the right to:
- Make adjustments due to inclement weather
- Cancel further play.
- Postpone tournament start date/time and reduce game times in order to allow catch-up with the schedule of play.
- US Lax Events has the right to shorten games, finalize games due to future weather, reschedule games, and finish games before inclement weather arrives.
- Every attempt will be made to update cancellations on the Tourney Machine website.
- Once the first whistle has blown, there will be no credits for games lost due to weather. Once the first game of the tournament has begun (first whistle rule) no credits of any kind will be issued.
